What makes it publishable.
We publish figures, and figures need a place they came from. A tip that says “a model got cheaper” is a rumor; the same tip with the pricing page is a story. So send the link.
- A URL to the page where the number lives, or the post where it was announced.
- The date, if the page has no date of its own.
- Whether the change is already live or announced for later — the difference matters to anyone planning a migration.
If you are not sure whether something is worth a video, send it anyway. The worst outcome is that the fox reads it and stays quiet.
What we do not publish: press releases rewritten as news, unattributed screenshots, and anything we cannot trace back to a source. See thecharter.
